Review:
Imogen Rose never disappoints me!
From the very first chapter, no, scratch that, from the very first page I was hooked! (Which you can read HERE) The minute I sat down I read nonstop until about two hundred and seventy pages when I fell asleep, exhausted. The very next morning I picked it back up and started reading until I finished the book.
I love Cordelia and Jagger. I love the idea of them and the relationship that they have. However, if you read the first chapter, you know that Cordelia is taken by Quinn. Right of the bat there's a love triangle, and we all know how me we love and loathe love triangles. However, I must admit, because this is a school for the paranormal, this love triangle was very interesting and frustrating all at the same time.
For those of us who have read Rose's Faustine, we all know the school in Switzerland that Faustine was sent to. In Initiation we are able to not only see the school but from the beginning when Faustine was originally sent there. Although Initiation is not in Faustine's point of view, but the Demon Princess Cordelia's, the book was just as great as what started it all, Faustine.
Not only are there Demons, but vampires, shifters, Fay, and even some Wanderers. And yes, we get to see into a little of all of them! With mentoring Faustine and trying to deal with a love triangle that seems to have an obvious ending but who knows, Cordelia has much to deal with! Not to mention, she's been attacked, and kidnapped time and time again.
I simply can not wait to read more into this series as well as Faustine's series. Did I mention that Ryker, yes Faustine's Ryker is in this in here? So we even get to see Ryker and Faustine develop a little bit to. Again, I repeat, these books are a must read! Next one please!
