Review:
I have always been a huge fan of Erin Downing, so when she emailed me to offer up a copy of None of the Regular Rules for review, I knew that I had to jump on the opportunity! And let me tell you, I'm so glad that I didn't miss out on it.
Sophie is driving her dead aunt Suzy's car when she finds a backlist of hers that she wrote before she died, so Sophie pairs up with two of her best friends, Ella and Grace, and they promise each other that they would do everything on this list. The plan is to split it up and conquer the list, but there are some troubling events that occur that postpone the list from being finished. As things between the girls get shaky, Sophie is still determined to make sure that she will finish the list off.
Just when things in Sophie's life starts to look bright, things that Sophie wasn't even expecting start to crumble down around her. Little does Sophie know, the person that she tries to find comfort in may be stirring even more commotion in her life. However, to Sophie, completing the list of her dead aunt is all that matters to her and she is hellbent on doing it for Suzy.
I found this contemporary romance quite refreshing! There hasn't been many things that I have devoured while reading recently and I finished this book in one sitting, I found it that good! All of the characters are unique and have their own voices. The characters are relatable and they make a teen jealous of the crazy events that they get themselves into! I couldn't love None of the Regular Rules any more if I tried. I loved Sophie as a character and her romance [ ;) ] was fun to follow! Frustrating at times, like young romances tend to be, but worked out for the best in the end. This is a book that I know I will go back to when I have some spare time just to revisit the characters and their crazy adventures!
Great job once again Erin Downing, and I can't wait for the next one!

Summary:
Sometimes, a few dares can change lives…The weekend before the start of senior year, Sophie Erickson and her best friends, Ella and Grace, discover a handwritten list of dares tucked away in the glove compartment of Sophie’s beat-up old Toyota. But this isn’t just any list; it’s a dead girl's bucket list.
Sophie's beloved aunt Suzy died as a teenager in a fatal fall, leaving Sophie with an overly cautious family, a few fading photographs, and a bucket of bolts that barely passes for a car. But now, Sophie has Suzy’s list of the things she wanted to do in her last year of high school. Sophie can't help but wonder: What would happen if she tried to fulfill Suzy’s last wishes, to live out the longed-for life of her aunt, her hero?
As Sophie and her friends attempt to knock off the things on Suzy's list of dares, love blossoms in unexpected places and Sophie begins to feel that her life is finally coming together...when in fact, everything is slowly unraveling around her. When the truth about a long-held family secret threatens to shatter everything she believed to be true, Sophie is forced to question everything she knew about the life and people she believed in, and ultimately herself.
